Dear Members of the Engineering Society,
One of our servers recently experienced a double hard disk failure. Although our data was stored in a redundant configuration, it could not tolerate two simultaneous disk failures. This server was responsible for hosting our BuddyPress sites, including the main site my.skule.ca. We are working to do all we can to restore service, but it is likely that most of this data is lost permanently.
We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause you. Unfortunately there is little that could have been done to prevent two disk failures this quickly in succession.
If you are a club webmaster we strongly recommend collecting as much of your content you do not already have backups of from cached copies of your sites on Google or the Internet Archive.
